An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
